AUDITIONS

(3/21/2025) Thank you for your interest in Portland Ballet. Auditions for the 2025-2026 season have ended. Please check back in January 2026 for any openings for next season.

Though we are not currently accepting audition applications, the requirements are listed below to assist with preparation. Please note that Portland Ballet is unable to sponsor visas of any kind at this time.

Application requirements:

• Resume with your age, height, citizenship, and training/experience (accepted formats: .doc, .docx, or PDF; 1 page)

• Headshot and 2 Dance Photographs (accepted formats: .jpg or PDF)

• Video Link of classical classwork and contemporary movement (accepted formats: YouTube or Vimeo)

• Ability to attend an in-person audition in Portland, ME (if invited)

Applications will be accepted through a pre-determined date. Applications MUST contain all of the materials listed above.  Incomplete applications or applications submitted with other file formats, or outside of the application period, will not be reviewed.  Due to the high volume of audition requests we receive, please allow 2-3 weeks for a reply. If you have not heard back at that time, please feel free to follow up.
