Students accepted into the Pre-Professional Division are dedicated individuals looking to pursue a career in ballet, either by joining a professional company after graduation or continuing their studies in college with a Degree in Ballet. The PPD offers a demanding curriculum that requires 100 percent commitment.
Pre-Professional Schedule A
Meets 4 days per week for 10 hours per week total.
Includes Ballet Technique, Pointe/Men's Class, A Victorian Nutcracker rehearsals/Repertoire, Contemporary, and Modern.
Tuition: $3,620 (33 weeks)
Pre-Professional Schedule B
Meets 4 days per week for 11.5 hours per week total.
Includes Ballet Technique, Pointe/Men's Class, A Victorian Nutcracker rehearsals/Repertoire, Contemporary, Modern, and PBT.
Tuition: $4,150 (33 weeks)
Pre-Professional Schedule C
Meets 5 days per week for 15 hours per week total.
Includes: Ballet Technique, Pointe/Men's Class, A Victorian Nutcracker rehearsals/Repertoire, Variations, Contemporary, Modern, and PBT.
Tuition: $5,050 (33 weeks)

Performance Opportunities
PPD dancers perform in a Victorian Nutcracker and may be selected to participate in other professional Portland Ballet productions.
Additionally, they are part of Portland School of Ballet shows, including Building Ballets and the Year End Showcase, and also have the opportunity to partake in various community outreaches each year.
